Temporary Maintenance Worker I - Building Services

Reporting to the Foreman – Building Services, this position is responsible for a variety of facility operations and maintenance duties. Primary responsibilities include janitorial services; installation, removal, and maintenance of ice; board maintenance; preventative maintenance; painting; equipment repair and maintenance; and supporting operations involving aquatics and sports field maintenance. The role also includes maintaining a logbook, opening and closing the arena, driving vehicles, and operating other equipment required to complete assigned tasks. The position involves monitoring and adjusting mechanical controls and equipment, as well as providing customer service and dealing with the general public in a courteous and professional manner.
