Job description
As a Regulatory Affairs Intern, you will actively support the compliance of our products with international chemical and regulatory requirements. You will work with real data, real customers, and real regulatory challenges in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Customer Documentation
- Prepare and provide regulatory documents to customers (e.g., compliance declarations, material-related statements)
- Supplier Documentation Review
- Check and evaluate supplier documents such as full material declarations (FMDs), and other compliance-related information
- Follow up on missing or inconsistent data
- Chemical Data & Formulations
- Support the review and handling of chemical formulations from a regulatory perspective
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of substance-related information
- Systems & Data Maintenance
- Maintain and update regulatory systems and databases (e.g., IMDS, CAMDS, or similar tools)
- Ensure high data quality and traceability
- Process Support
- Assist in improving internal workflows and documentation processes
- Support cross-functional collaboration with R&D, purchasing, and product safety teams
- Background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Law (focus on regulatory or environmental law), or similar
- Strong interest in regulatory requirements, chemical data, and product compliance
- High attention to detail and structured working style
- Reliable, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Good communication skills in English (German is a plus)
- Comfortable working with databases and structured data
