Nbn
Senior Marketing Manager
Salary
Job description
Job Expectations
Build your career and Australia’s future.
Not many people can say they are working on building Australia’s future. With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.
We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a Senior Marketing Manager. This role will report to the Executive Manager, Customer Marketing.
A bit about your role
As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will lead the development of audience strategies, integrated campaign plans and budgets across nbn’s priority programs over a 12–18-month horizon, aligned to content and organisational priorities. This role centres on setting strategy, with execution delivered through partners. You will define go-to-market approaches, develop campaign plans, brief agencies, and oversee media planning and delivery.
Working cross-functionally, you will translate insights into clear value propositions that support integrated campaigns across residential and business segments, driving acquisition, retention and reputation. Strong stakeholder management is critical, ensuring alignment and delivery of cohesive, partner-led campaigns.
A bit about you
You bring a strong foundation in strategic marketing, with experience across integrated, product or brand roles. Marketing and media experience is essential; telco or agency experience is highly regarded. You’re comfortable in fast-paced, complex environments, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and collaborate effectively across teams. You have a proven track record of developing strategies that drive commercial outcomes across B2C and B2B contexts.
You bring a strong appreciation of indirect, partner-led marketing and how this shapes campaign planning. You understand this business model and the importance of supporting channel partners rather than relying solely on direct-to-consumer activity. A natural collaborator, you build trusted relationships and align stakeholders across matrix organisations. You combine strategic thinking with commercial acumen and are comfortable managing high-volume, process-driven campaign activity with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
