About Tekion:
Positively disrupting an industry that has not seen any innovation in over 50 years, Tekion has challenged the paradigm with the first and fastest cloud-native automotive platform that includes the revolutionary Automotive Retail Cloud (ARC) for retailers, Automotive Enterprise Cloud (AEC) for manufacturers and other large automotive enterprises and Automotive Partner Cloud (APC) for technology and industry partners. Tekion connects the entire spectrum of the automotive retail ecosystem through one seamless platform. The transformative platform uses cutting-edge technology, big data, machine learning, and AI to seamlessly bring together OEMs, retailers/dealers and consumers. With its highly configurable integration and greater customer engagement capabilities, Tekion is enabling the best automotive retail experiences ever. Tekion employs close to 3,000 people across North America, Asia and Europe.
What You Will Do
- Own the product strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for AI-first Digital Retail experiences across web and mobile.
- Identify high-impact consumer and dealer workflow problems that can be solved through agentic experiences (e.g., guided buying, personalized vehicle matching, trade-in optimization, finance pre-qualification, appointment scheduling, Checkout)
- Define and deliver AI agent workflows that can reason, invoke tools/APIs, and complete tasks reliably with human-in-the-loop and escalation paths where needed.
- Translate business objectives into clear PRDs, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
- Partner with Data/AI and Engineering to define agent architecture requirements: tool/function calling, workflow orchestration, latency and more.
- Establish quality and safety guardrails: evaluation frameworks, prompt/tooling guidelines, PII handling, policy enforcement.
- Drive experimentation and measurement: A/B testing, staged rollouts, feature flags, and continuous improvement loops.
- Work cross-functionally to align stakeholders, manage dependencies, and ensure readiness for go-to-market and support.
- Act as a product leader at Staff level: mentor other PMs, set product standards, and influence direction across teams.
What We Are Looking For
- 7+ years of Product Management experience with customer-facing SaaS, eCommerce, marketplace, or workflow products; experience in automotive retail technology is a plus.
- Proven track record of owning ambiguous problem spaces end-to-end and delivering products that move business metrics.
- Experience building AI-first products, including at least one of: AI agents, agentic workflow automation
- Strong understanding of AI product risks and quality: hallucinations/grounding, safety, privacy, monitoring, evaluation, and human-in-the-loop design.
- Ability to work deeply with Engineering and Data/AI teams—comfortable discussing tradeoffs across quality, latency, cost, and operational constraints.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to write crisp product narratives and decision documents.
Preferred Qualifications
- Digital Retail domain & data-driven growth: Experience across desking, trade-in, credit application, F&I menu, checkout, and appointment scheduling; strong command of experimentation and funnel analytics.
- Platform + scale mindset: Proven ability to build shared platform capabilities (APIs, services, configuration, policy, governance) and scalable systems/processes that enable multiple product teams.
- Cross-functional leadership: Leads multi-squad, distributed onshore/offshore initiatives end-to-end; drives adoption and measurable impact through strong business acumen, prioritization, and deep partnership with Engineering, Design, Data, and GTM.
