Key Responsibilities

1. Soft Services Operations Management

  • Supervise daily housekeeping, janitorial, and cleaning activities
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across the facility
  • Monitor and manage pantry services, consumables, and supplies
  • Oversee pest control and landscaping activities

2. Vendor Management

  • Coordinate with housekeeping agencies, pest control vendors, and other service providers
  • Ensure vendors meet contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Conduct regular audits and performance reviews of vendors
  • Manage invoices, billing, and vendor documentation

3. Quality & Compliance

  • Implement and monitor cleaning schedules and SOPs
  • Conduct periodic inspections and audits for hygiene and cleanliness
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards
  • Maintain records of inspections, compliance reports, and corrective actions

4. Manpower Management

  • Supervise housekeeping staff, supervisors, and support teams
  • Plan shift schedules, manpower allocation, and attendance
  • Provide training on best practices, hygiene standards, and safety procedures
  • Handle staff discipline, performance evaluation, and motivation

5. Inventory & Cost Control

  • Track consumption of cleaning materials and pantry supplies
  • Maintain stock levels and avoid wastage
  • Prepare budget estimates and control operational costs
  • Raise purchase requests and track procurement

6. Client & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Address client complaints and service requests promptly
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Conduct regular review meetings with clients and vendors
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement

7. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • Ensure all soft services follow safety guidelines
  • Promote safe work practices among staff
  • Conduct safety drills and comply with HSE audits
  • Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal
