Senior Infrastructure Engineer

PURPOSE Designs implements maintains and supports infrastructure services in accordance with business and functional requirements using appropriate SITA standards policies and processes across multiple projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Standardize System Level Architecture Automate System Implementation, leveraging processes and tools proven successful in other airport products Standardize/Define security architecture regarding patch management, anti-virus, server hardening, Active Directory, containers Installation, maintenance, updates and 3rdLevel support of external devices/peripherals and the firmware required to run them Automate System Implementation, leveraging processes and tools proven successful in other airport products Engineer Disaster Recovery, Backup/Restore and other fault tolerance related product elements Integrate Product with SITA's Cloud Architecture Provide 3rd level support Evaluate 3rd Party Software and Integrate as needed Evaluate and recommend add-on utilities for system administration and troubleshooting. Write documentation for each integration. (Documentation includes details such as: Installation, customization, backup, and troubleshooting information) Ability to travel worldwide Qualifications EXPERIENCE - At least 5 years experience in implementation or support of infrastructure platforms application deployments implementing systems and modules with experience in multiple full lifecycle implementations. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Windows Server 2016 – 2025 Experience of supporting external devices/peripherals (e.g. scanners, printers, etc.) Good Knowledge of installing, maintaining and updating external device/peripheral Firmware MS SQL Server 2016 - 2022 Clustering (Microsoft) Application deployment and packaging, antivirus management Knowledge of Virtualization Technologies (e.g. ESXi Server, VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.) Good knowledge of vb scripting Management of Messaging Services (e.g. MSMQ, Rabbit MQ, IBM MQ, …) Good Knowledge of Redundancy/Backup technologies: RAID, NLB, Tape Backup, NAS, etc. General SAN Management. (including iSCSI, MPIO, etc.) Understanding of Power Shell Strong communications and documentation skills EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS BA or MA degree in technical domain 5+ years of experience Technical skills covering the most important aspects of Infrastructure Good communicator and excellent English skills WHAT WE OFFER We're all about diversity.
