We are currently seeking a highly motivated Project Controls Manager with 5= years of experience in cost management, scheduling, and project performance analysis on mega-projects like data centers or advance manufacturing facilities, to join our team in Atlanta, GA.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Develop and maintain project cost control systems, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor and update project schedules, ensuring alignment with contractual milestones and client expectations.
  • Prepare and present detailed cost and schedule reports to senior management and clients.
  • Collaborate with project managers and field teams to identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and maintain performance metrics.
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, and ensure accurate documentation of scope adjustments.
  • Oversee internal project accounting and financial performance to maintain budget alignment.
  • Support procurement and subcontractor coordination to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
  • Lead project closeout activities, including final cost reconciliation and lessons-learned reporting.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 5–7 years of experience in project controls, cost management, and scheduling within construction or design/build environments.
  • Proficiency in scheduling and cost control software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead negotiations and resolve conflicts constructively.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel to project sites nationwide as required.
