We focus on long-term value creation through mergers, acquisitions, and transformative strategic partnerships. Our team sits at the intersection of strategy, finance, and operations, working closely with executive leadership to navigate complex market dynamics and position the company for sustainable competitive advantage.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Corporate Development team is the strategic engine of the organization, responsible for identifying and executing opportunities that drive non-linear growth. We focus on long-term value creation through mergers, acquisitions, and transformative strategic partnerships. Our team sits at the intersection of strategy, finance, and operations, working closely with executive leadership to navigate complex market dynamics and position the company for sustainable competitive advantage.
Wh a t Success Looks Like (Objectives)
- P artner with senior leadership to define and refine partnership strategies that align with the company’s 3-5 year growth roadmap
- Lead the full lifecycle of strategic programs, from initial market scanning and due diligence to deal negotiation and post-signing integration
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners, fostering high-level relationships while ensuring internal stakeholders remain aligned on objectives
- Support the Department of Innovation through weekly team meetings, individual initiatives and preparation and facilitation of monthly meetings with leadership
- Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of programs and partnerships, providing regular reporting to the executive suite
- Act as the "connective tissue" between Legal, Finance, Product, and Sales to ensure seamless implementation of corporate initiatives
Skills, Experience and Requirements

- Strong understanding of business models, valuation basics, and P&L management
- Exceptional ability to persuade and negotiate with both internal executives and external partners
- The ability to see "around the corner" to identify market trends and potential risks before they materialize
- Elite verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable executive summaries
- An insatiable desire to learn about disruptive technologies and ideas that will alter the future of the industries that EchoStar works within
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum Experience: 6–10+ years of experience in Corporate Development, Management Consulting, Investment Banking, or Strategic Partnerships
- Required Technical Skills:
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects or high-value corporate deals
- Experience operating in a fast-paced environment where ambiguity is the norm
- Ability to travel as needed for partner meetings and industry events

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year Benefits

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
