What the day will look like Responsible for Australia financial performance consolidation and reporting activities for Australia Executive Leadership team and Asia Pacific Regional Finance team (monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc) Responsible for end-to-end process management of the month. This includes coordinating the calendar of deliverables. Also, providing clarity of deliverables to Finance Partners (FPs) and ensuring timely and complete financial reporting. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining a clear timetable for the AU FP&A team, coordinating closely with the Regional APAC Finance team, and effectively communicating all deadlines and expectations. It also involves creating standardized and simplified processes to ensure timely delivery of month-end close, monthly forecasting, quarterly business reviews (QBR), and annual budgeting activities. This role is also responsible for cost forecasting for Australia, including detailed salaries and benefits modeling monthly. Supports and enables the CFO to make informed cost decisions by providing scenario and sensitivity analyses. Proactively automates processes using AI and other Aon global tools and processes to drive efficiency and accuracy. Perform month-end close activities, including preparing and reviewing key reports, ensuring data accuracy, and coordinating with partners to meet reporting deadlines. Analyze variances and provides explanations for significant movements and articulating key drivers, supporting CFO and CEO of Australia with timely insights. This role also performs ad-hoc analysis to support the CFO and CEO on all P&L levers to manage Australia’s financial performance. This includes analysing current and historical financial data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports on sales performance, debtors and financial scorecard of the Australian Segments monthly including providing key insights and actions to drive performance Partner with the Regional CFO Finance team on forecasting, planning, and performance analysis cycles. Perform the annual budgeting process, including template design, assumption validation, and consolidation of inputs Provide timely, relevant, and actionable financial insights to support strategic and operational decision-making. Support financial evaluation of business initiatives, including business cases, ROI analysis, and feasibility assessments. Collaborate with Finance partners, Program Management, and Business leaders to deliver decision-support insights. Deliver ad-hoc analysis and reporting within agreed timelines for leadership and business needs. Act as a champion of standardization and automation, driving operational improvements across FP&A activities. Build and enhance financial models, reporting tools, and dashboards to improve insights and efficiency. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, simplification, and process optimization. Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with internal policies and reporting standards. Strong capability to interpret data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI (preferred) and experience in using AI tools is key. Experience with TM1 and Workday would be an advantage. Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills. Proven ability in process simplification and standardization.
