Work set-up: Hybrid (4 days per week in-office, 1-day WFH)

Our client, a corporate communications and technology consultancy that helps organizations improve stakeholder engagement through communication strategy, branding, digital platforms, intranets, apps, and communication-focused technology solutions is seeking a creative heavyweight who is part master creative, part strategic thinker and part mentor. The Creative Director will set the bar for quality creative work, which isn’t about winning awards, but addressing clients pain points and creatively solving their problems - it’s about doing work that makes a difference to the client’s business. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for working hand-in-hand with Strategy and Account leadership to ensure creative solutions are anchored in deep consumer insights and business logic.

What you will do:

  • Act as a senior creative partner to key clients to understand their goals and expectations and enable creative problem solving.
  • Develop and communicate a clear creative and strategic vision for projects, campaigns, or brands.
  • Lead and inspire creative teams, including Designers, Writers, Art Directors, and other professionals.
  • Generate innovative concepts and ideas that resonate with the target audience.
  • Oversee the entire creative process, from brainstorming to execution, ensuring projects are on-brand and on-time.
  • Simultaneously manage the creative direction for multiple brands, ensuring each maintains its distinct voice and quality.
  • Ensure that all creative output is 100% aligned with client brand’s identity, guidelines and messaging, and maintain brand integrity at every touchpoint.
  • Confidently present creative concepts and solutions to clients or stakeholders – the ability to articulate the ‘why’ behind the campaign and how it solves the business problem.
  • Lead the creative strategy for new business pitches.
  • Maintain high creative standards and ensure the final output meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Work closely with Account Management teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Allocate creative resources for campaigns.
  • Expanding existing accounts by proactively pitching “un briefed” creative opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to creative teams to ensure that projects align with the established vision.
  • Stay updated on industry trends (especially the impact of AI), consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to inform creative strategies.
  • Mentor and guide creative team.
  • Perform performance evaluations for creative team.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Design, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in creative roles, with a proven track record of successful integrated campaign and projects execution and roll-out.
  • Experience in managing a creative team of at least 4 - 6 people.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities to inspire and guide creative professionals.
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills to generate innovative ideas with a portfolio of work that reflects this.
  • Familiarity in project managements tools (Magnetic, Slack etc.) and presentation software for creating and delivering presentations (PPTX and Keynote).
  • Familiarity (proficiency if design based) in creative software such as Adobe Creative, Cloud (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.) for reviewing and directing design work. Also looking for knowledge and expertise in AI tools and software, particularly within the communications space.
  • Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing models.
  • Display media fluency with a deep understanding of all SoMe platforms, OOH, TV, activations etc.
  • Must be a creative and strategic thinker. 
    - Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have the ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
  • The ability to oversee projects from start to finish.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with extremely high turnover of briefs at any given time.
  • Experience working with large organizations or corporate internal communication teams.
  • Background in Design, Advertising, Communication, Journalism, or Marketing.
  • Experience in multimedia content (video, motion, digital platforms).
  • Familiarity with employee experience platforms, intranets, or internal campaigns.
