Telespazio Belgium can count on more than 45 years of experience in the field of Space Operations Service & Engineering activities.
We provide a significant contribution to the most major Space programs of the European Space Agency, EUSPA and other Telespazio Groups. Our core business is to work on the ground to build bridges into space, contributing to the success of ambitious missions.
We will soon be looking for 2 highly enthusiastic Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and field deployment (EGN) Engineers who will work in Toulouse, France.
Freelance contract only
Candidates must be eligible for a security personal clearance from an EU Member State national security administration
What is expected from you
Contribute to Site Technical Control Boards (TCBs) chaired by a nominated representative of ESA, in support of ESA P-CCBs and in charge of the review of:
- CFI inputs deliverables review /approval status & tracking (Multipath survey report, network survey report, antenna ICD, TN installation guidelines, TN critical assessment);
- Sites Implementation Requirements Document (SIRD) evolutions evaluation/preparation (DCPs/DCNs);
- Site-related Change Requests (to Industry contract) technical Datapackage Preparations;
- Site-related CCNs (to Industry contract) technical evaluation, and Site WP-STA review;
- Post-CFI acceptance site ONCR impact assessment/resolution;
- Consent to ship authorisation (following Pre-Shipment Reviews); o Deployment deliverables review/update (PHST, training procedures, Iinstallation reports...);
- Management of the RIDs raised by the HE, ESSP and EUSPA site POCs until final approval of the Indutry’s documents (inputs to TCBs);
- Ensure the readiness of the EUSPA inputs for the deployment activities.
- Monitor the progress of industry deployment activities and highlight the key issues/blocking points for EUSPA attention (impacts on EGNOS programme/EGNOS sites, schedule drift, risks...)
- Participation to the coordination meetings with ESA and Industry, and Schedule Engineering Boards, weekly coordination with BT;
- Support to the supervision of EV3 deployment schedule execution and coordination with ESSP to ensure the readiness of the sites, the implementation of the identified actions and the provision of the expected support from the Hosting Entity to Industry;
- Preparation and coordination of the following Reviews (including review of the MOMS/identified actions):
- RIMS/ELAN Pre-shipment Reviews (PSR) Preparatory Meetings (PM);
- RIMS/ELAN PSR;
- TWAN PSR;
- Support to the picture taking process, based on EUSPA Security guidelines;
- Analysis and support to the management of export control, taxes and customs aspects related to the deployment of EU assets out of EU and/or in specific EU countries (e.g. EGNOS RIMS stations).
- Manage specific ESSP contracts related to EGNOS sites that have been reassigned
- Produce dashboards tracking site management activities, including RIDs, documentation, and coordination with ESSP for EGNOS V3 deployment.
- Report on site progress, gathering inputs from EUSPA and ESSP site focal points.
- Monitor and update tickets across multiple tracking tools (PMOT, ECLIPSE, JIRA, SCOPE) for reporting to Observation Boards.
