Job description
- Partner with BU to provide solutions to fulfill priorities, inc. in-line product performance tracking, pipeline assets/indications launch excellence
- Understand the focus of BU key stakeholders and map out annual research plan with reasonable budget
- Propose cost effective methodology to track these initiatives, and provide clear suggestions on where and how to play
- Familiar with both primary research (ATU, PDS, mkt understanding, pt journey, CI, etc.) and RWE solutions to address business questions
- Able to present core findings and articulate the insights clearly to CMT and Intercon team
- Strong vendor management to commit to timeline and company policy
- Being a STRONG bespoke person for MI team, influence global and local key stakeholders
- Seen as trusted partner, being invited to BU internal management meeting, company QBR to share key findings of research and gap assessment
- BUD, MD and other key stakeholders utilize market research data/ insights for brand plan preparation, and LRP submission
- For Intercon biz review / exchange, being invited by BU to share key findings / insights to bring out the holistic picture
- Collaborate with IMABI team on market research projects to ensure China’s key product / indication being included
- Work with IMABI to understand the ORMP, ensure key global projects cover China, with proper design, target list utilization
- Connect with IMABI for CI, Epidemiology, database and share routinely global updates to BU
- Ensure the outputs from IMABI are insightful and relevant to BU, directionally aligned with local research outputs
- Acquire industry reports to understand China market dynamics, key trends and implications to AbbVie business and development requirements
- Consult and build network with customers, industry contacts, external organizations / associations.
- Other tasks assigned by line manager.
- Bachelor’s degree or above. Specialization in medical/ pharmaceutics/ business preferred.
- 8 years or above experience in market intelligence, data analysis or consulting in healthcare, preferably across agency and pharma sides
- Strong skills in collecting, analyzing and synthesizing data from multiple sources
- Strong ability to understand market trends, financial data, customer needs, and assess competitive intelligence data.
- Fluent English in both written and oral
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
- Strong execution and project management skills
