As part of the European Institutions’ communication ecosystem, this role contributes to amplifying key messages and strengthening engagement with citizens across Europe. The position focuses on ensuring that communication is clear, impactful, and aligned with strategic priorities.

The role is embedded in a collaborative environment working on strategic communication, creative development, and campaign delivery. The team supports internal stakeholders in transforming communication objectives into effective and engaging initiatives by:

• Developing clear communication strategies and strong creative concepts
• Ensuring consistency and proper application of branding guidelines
• Delivering high-quality, brand-aligned communication assets
• Supporting efficient and impact-driven campaigns across multiple channels

The position focuses on strategy, messaging, and campaign development.

The role supports European Institutions in communicating their purpose, values, and activities to citizens across Europe. Through strategic communication, branding, and campaign development, it helps ensure that institutional messages are accessible, engaging, and widely understood.

Key Responsibilities

• Brand Management & Governance

Drive the rollout and adoption of branding guidelines, develop templates and assets, ensure compliance, and provide ongoing support and guidance to internal stakeholders. Manage and optimise a centralised brand portal, including content, user access, and performance monitoring, while delivering training initiatives and analysing brand-related data.

• Project & Campaign Management

Lead the end-to-end coordination of communication campaigns and flagship initiatives, from briefing and concept development to execution and evaluation. Ensure timely delivery by managing planning, workflows, stakeholders, and creative production, while contributing to integrated multi-channel media strategies.

• Strategic Communication & Advisory

Support the development of communication strategies by translating objectives into clear messaging and creative direction. Review communication assets to ensure alignment with strategy and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Research & Insights

Conduct audience and data analysis to inform campaign positioning and messaging. Identify best practices and emerging trends in communication and branding to enhance effectiveness and impact.

• Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement through campaign evaluation and lessons learned.

Your Profile

• Fluent in English (native level a plus);
• Passionate about better communicating the EU;
• Able to communicate complex policy matters in a short, simple and relatable way;
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment meeting client needs and deadlines;
• Training in strategic communication and branding is highly valued
• Experience working with or within an advertising agency is considered a strong asset
