What we are looking for
•
At least 2 years of experience in management consulting for financial services and/or banking industry as quant/data scientist, experience in risk management, credit risk, risk modelling/validation, IRB, IFRS 9 or stress testing
•
Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics)
•
Strong analytical and quantitative background, with hands-on experience in risk management in banking
•
Experience in programming languages and data structures. Relevant programming languages include Python, SAS, R, SQL, etc.
•
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex analyses to non-technical audiences
•
Fluent in German and English. Other languages will be valued
•
Willingness to travel regularly for client work is essential
Nice to have
•
Experience with PySpark and big data frameworks (e.g., Databricks, Hadoop) is a strong plus.
•
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., BCBS 239, CRR/CRD, EBA Guidelines).
•
Understanding of machine learning algorithms, AI / Generative AI and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, matplotlib).
