Job description
The Regional Sales Supervisor will be responsible for driving commercial performance across two regions in Greece (A part of Attiki + Another) , leading a team of 8 Medical Representatives.
The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on field engagement, including direct interaction with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and key pharmacy stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Coaching : Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales reps. Conduct joint field visits with reps to guide product detailing, refine pitching to doctors, and evaluate performance.
- Sales Execution & Strategy : Develop regional business plans to hit specific volume, brand, and market share objectives.
- Doctor & Pharmacy Relations : Build and maintain high-level relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, hospital administrators, and major pharmacy chain buyers.
- Scientific & Commercial Detailing : Ensure your team effectively educates healthcare providers on clinical trials, drug efficacy, dosage, and safety profiles.
- Market Analysis & Forecasting : Analyze sales data and track competitor activity to identify opportunities for regional market expansion. Ensure optimal stock levels at local pharmacies to prevent treatment gaps.
- Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to pharmaceutical marketing ethics, regulatory requirements, and local health authority guidelines.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- A combination of scientific and business/economic education would be considered a strong advantage.
- Experience
- Minimum 5 years of successful experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Previous experience managing or supervising Medical Representatives or Sales Representatives is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and driving team performance.
