Position Details

Location: Virginia Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth Position Type: Full-Time Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are recruiting a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to provide full-time telehealth therapy for clients in Virginia. This role is built around direct clinical care, thoughtful treatment planning, and steady support for clients dealing with relationship strain, family conflict, communication issues, emotional stress, and major life adjustments.

You will work remotely while maintaining a professional therapy environment for each client session. The day-to-day work includes meeting with clients online, documenting care, reviewing treatment goals, and helping clients build healthier ways to manage their relationships and personal challenges.

Responsibilities

• Hold virtual therapy appointments with individuals, couples, and families
• Review client concerns, clinical history, and current stressors during intake and ongoing sessions
• Develop treatment goals that are clear, realistic, and clinically appropriate
• Provide therapy using marriage and family therapy principles and related clinical methods
• Support clients through conflict, communication concerns, emotional strain, transitions, and family-related challenges
• Document client progress, session notes, and treatment updates in a timely manner
• Maintain professional boundaries and client privacy in a remote setting
• Stay aligned with Virginia licensure expectations and professional standards of care
• Active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist license in Virginia
• Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
• Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families
• Strong understanding of family systems, relational patterns, and behavioral health treatment
• Comfortable providing services through a remote telehealth platform
• Ability to complete documentation accurately and on time
• Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for virtual sessions
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical judgment
• $115,000–$120,000 per year
• Full-time remote position
• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule
