Waking Night Support Worker – Primrose Lodge (Addiction Recovery) Location: Guildford Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Average 43.75 hours per week Working pattern: Week 1 – 3 nights, Week 2 – 4 nights (rolling rota)

Primrose Lodge , part of the UK Addiction Treatment Group ( UKAT ), is seeking a compassionate and reliable Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in Guildford. This is a vital role that helps provide stability, safety, and emotional support to our residents during overnight hours.

What you’ll do

  • Provide a reassuring presence and emotional support to clients overnight
  • Conduct regular wellbeing checks and respond to client needs promptly
  • Complete detailed handovers and maintain accurate records and logs
  • Carry out security and health & safety checks throughout the night
  • Work closely with the day team to ensure continuity of care

Working Hours

  • 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Rolling rota: 3 nights one week, 4 nights the following week
  • Average of 43.75 hours per week

What we’re looking for

  • Experience working in a support or care setting is desirable but not essential – we provide full training
  • Someone calm, empathetic, and resilient, especially in crisis situations
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and recovery
