Job description
We are looking for a Facilities Technician to join our team. If you enjoy practical work, fixing problems, and helping a workplace run smoothly, this role will give you the chance to make a real impact every day.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To provide ongoing maintenance and support of the company`s building systems and be able to fix minor defects.
- Supervise and escort specialists and subcontractors working with the building technical systems.
- Monitors and replaces light bulbs in all assigned facilities, as needed.
- Makes minor plumbing repairs, as necessary.
- Performs basic electrical work and determines when an electrician is required.
- Performs basic cosmetic repairs, such as local wall painting, putty
- Performs basic HVAC works and repairs, such as filters replacement
- Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences
- Repairs building’s hardware equipment, such as doors, windows etc.
- Dismantles and installs, and repairs furniture if required.
- Transports goods or equipment as assigned.
- Performs other maintenance duties as assigned by Direct Manager
- The employee is responsible for proper, high-quality and timely execution of his job obligations.
- The employee is responsible for trusted work resources and items
- Secondary or vocational education is required for this role.
- English Speaker
- At least 2 years of experience in building systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- A strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Word and MS Excel.
