Your Role as Enrolled Nurse 

You’ll provide holistic care to gusts at Hopewell Hospice working alongside Registered Nurses and Personal Care Workers.  

• Deliver holistic care and support to guests and families accessing the service, following relevant care plans and under the supervision of the clinical team 

• Observe, monitor, interpret, document and report signs and symptoms  

• Medication administration 

• Contribute to the formulation and implementation of care plans. 

• Assist in the orientation of new staff 

• Support guests with all aspects of daily living, including but not restricted to, personal care, associated light domestic duties and social/community participation 

• Provide guests with a physically and emotionally secure environment and promote their physical, intellectual, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual well-being 

What We’re Looking For 

• AHPRA Registration  

• Ability to provide high level nursing care within the Enrolled Nurse Scope of Practice 

• Demonstrated passion and commitment to connecting the community to the mission and vision of Hopewell Hospice 

• The ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion and professionalism ensuring that the dignity and rights of guests and families are respected at all times 

• Proven high level teamwork and collaboration skills to achieve objectives and promote positive working relationships 

• Enthusiasm and highly effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. 

• Experience in supporting people with illness and complex and chronic care needs 

Essential Requirements 

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy) 

• Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy. 

• Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work
