Job description
What will your responsibilities be?
You will hold a caseload of adults while working closely with children’s services to ensure smooth transitions. The role requires strong knowledge of key legislation and safeguarding processes, alongside collaborative multi-agency working.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Strong knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, best interest processes and safeguarding, including s42 enquiries
- Experience supporting young people or adults with complex needs
Desirable:
- Experience with DoLS, Court of Protection, CHC, SEND or EHCP
- Familiarity with LAS system
Working Pattern:
- Full-time
- 2 days per week in the office at City Hall (Wednesday plus one other day)
- Home working available on other days
- First week fully office-based for training and induction
