Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer located in Dundalk,Ireland.
Reporting to the Business Excellence Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer role involves supporting the business in the implementation of Industrial Engineering activities and process optimization. They will champion process improvements and, in conjunction with other functions, analyse feedback and identify and implement problem-solving techniques to identify appropriate tools to support continuous improvement and drive positive change across the full value stream
What a typical day looks like:
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business processes and improvements
- Coordinate and align business processes across multiple functions to ensure consistency and efficiency
- Collaborate with functional leads to identify key challenges and implement process improvements, including automation initiatives
- Drive change management activities to support business transformation
- Identify process gaps, propose improvements, and support implementation
- Support the development of best practices and innovative solutions to improve production rates and product quality
- Work with global and regional teams to establish standardized “one-best-way” processes for design and production
- Support the implementation of site Automation Strategy in collaboration with Global OpEx teams
- Contribute to sourcing and implementing new tools, processes, and systems to improve performance and reduce costs
- Support Industrial Engineering initiatives, including standard times and production flow improvements
- Prepare justification, support purchasing, and implement capital equipment for production
- Provide engineering support focused on cost, quality, and delivery improvements
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience) with at least 2 years of industrial experience
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Industrial Engineering
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor or similar design software is an advantage
- Familiarity with Automation and Production Flow systems
- Experience in Operational Excellence (OpEx), Engineering, or Project Management is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Team player with a proactive approach to driving improvements
