Within our thriving Nuclear business, we are continuing to grow following strong success across the UK’s nuclear renaissance. Our Mechanical and Electrical Capability is expanding, and we are looking for Senior Mechanical Engineers to join us across design, project, and site-based roles. Your role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Apply your technical expertise to contribute to impactful projects across the nuclear industry
• Influence outcomes by delivering thoughtful, high-quality engineering solutions
• Engage with diverse opportunities across design, project, and site-based environments
• Contribute your knowledge or awareness of engineering practices within safety-regulated industries
• Collaborate with a supportive and purpose-driven team across specialisms such as:
  • Mechanical handling
  • Large-scale diesel equipment
  • Turbine generators and associated balance-of-plant systems
  • Mechanical and electrical layouts
  • Installation and engineering delivery
• Grow and develop your capabilities while working in a dynamic and evolving sector

About you

We are looking for individuals who bring both capability and curiosity, and who are motivated to contribute to meaningful, high-impact work. You may identify with the following:

• Chartered or Incorporated Member of a recognised professional institution
• Demonstrated experience, or strong awareness, of engineering practices within safety-regulated industries
• Ability to apply technical knowledge to influence project outcomes and deliver quality solutions
• Experience or interest in areas such as mechanical handling, diesel equipment, layouts, or installation
• A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to share ideas and contribute to team success
• A proactive and growth-oriented approach, with a desire to learn, develop, and make a positive impact

Security clearance

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance.  If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview.
