Manual Tester (Banking)

Currently, for one of our teams delivering projects for a client in the banking sector, we are looking for a person for the position of Manual Tester .

The new project involves the development of a modern web platform and the creation of new functionalities supporting business processes.

In this position you will

• design and develop test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements and process documentation
• perform manual testing of IT systems, in particular functional, integration, and regression testing
• execute testing of business processes described in BPMN and UML notation
• analyze requirements, business, and technical documentation
• report, document, and monitor defects in tools such as Jira
• report test results and collaborate with the project team to clarify inconsistencies
• cooperate with business analysts, developers, and client-side stakeholders
• work in a team delivering projects in Agile / Scrum methodologies

We are looking for you, if you

• have at least 2 years of experience as a Manual Tester
• have experience in testing business processes
• know the basics of BPMN and UML
• have worked on banking or financial projects
• are able to analyze requirements and prepare test documentation
• are familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• have experience working with Jira and Confluence tools
• know test levels and the concept of the testing pyramid
• are familiar with ISTQB terminology
• are independent, detail-oriented, and have strong analytical skills
• can communicate effectively and work in a team
• are available to start work immediately

Additionally, we value

• knowledge of databases and basic SQL
• basic knowledge of test automation (e.g., Java, Selenium WebDriver)
• experience working with CI/CD
• ISTQB certification
• English at a level that allows comfortable use of technical documentation and communication with clients
