We are seeking a structured, analytical Business Consultant to join our technical delivery team in Sydney.

Position Purpose

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of consulting engagements, bridging the gap between business strategy and software execution. You will work closely with client stakeholders to analyze business obstacles, design future-state technical architectures, and oversee implementation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Technical Delivery & Analysis:
  • Deliver end-to-end consulting engagements by contributing actively to business analysis, solution design, software development, testing, and implementation.
  • Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify, validate, and formulate complex business problem statements.
  • Translate business challenges into structured technical insights, scalable architectures, and actionable recommendations.
  • Design future-state solutions with clearly quantified business benefits and robust technical frameworks.
  • Develop core project artifacts, including business cases, customer journey maps, process maps, technical designs, user stories, and test scripts.
  • Utilize hands-on software engineering capabilities to evaluate the feasibility, scalability, maintainability, and technical risks of proposed client solutions.
  • Configure, develop, and support digital solutions utilizing core technology platforms, APIs, integration frameworks, automation tools, and cloud technologies.
• Client Engagement & Communication:
  • Engage with client stakeholders across multiple business levels to uncover operational needs, system dependencies, and technical priorities.
  • Facilitate structured client workshops to gather technical requirements and validate solution designs.
  • Present findings, technical concepts, and recommendations to both business and technical audiences via clear documentation, reports, and walkthroughs.
  • Collaborate daily with internal and external developers, architects, analysts, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure cohesive delivery.
• Practice Growth & Leadership:
  • Contribute to client proposal development, solution estimations, and the positioning of Innovior's automation and AI capabilities.
  • Stay informed on emerging software engineering trends and digital transformation approaches to advise clients effectively.
  • Manage personal deliverables to a high standard while mentoring junior team members to support their technical growth and project delivery.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Consulting Experience: 12 months minimum work experience in a related field is required.
• Technical Architecture & Delivery: Demonstrated experience in technical solution design, process mapping, and translating business challenges into structured technical specifications.
• Software & Platform Knowledge: Practical understanding of software development lifecycles, APIs, cloud technologies, or automation tools.
• Data & Analysis: Strong capabilities in gathering and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to design business cases and future-state solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to facilitate client workshops and collaborate with technical teams (architects, developers, and analysts).
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
