Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Supply Chain Analyst / Materials Planner to join our team in Mossville, IL ! This role would be responsible for helping suppliers prioritize facility needs to ship material to keep Production lines running. They would lead Control Towers working directly with Logistics Planning Analysts from multiple production and service facilities as well as the suppliers and buyers to prioritize what should be shipped to each facility. They would create an excel file showing need by facility and by week to show where the risk is.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Run daily/recurring control tower meetings with suppliers, LPAs, and internal stakeholders to prioritize shipments and resolve material constraints impacting production
  • Create and maintain material coverage files to identify supply risks by facility, week, and production demand requirements
  • Develop and maintain tracking tools and dashboards (primarily Excel-based) to monitor supplier performance, shipment status, and material availability
  • Partner with suppliers and internal teams to align ship plans with production schedules and demand requirements, escalating risks as needed to ensure continuity of supply
  • Translate supply chain demand signals, production requirements, and operational formulas into actionable shipment prioritization and execution plans
  • Analyze production processes, methods, and cycle times to help establish standard shipment practices and improve operational efficiency
  • Review production logs, processing sheets, and specification documents to ensure data accuracy and adherence to quality and operational standards
  • Support planning of work assignments based on production performance, schedules, and anticipated delays to minimize disruption to manufacturing operations
  • Build charts, graphs, and workflow visuals to communicate material flow, coverage status, and operational performance trends to stakeholders

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering AND 2-4 years of experience
  • OR Associate’s degree in relevant field AND 6+ years of experience
  • OR Master’s degree AND 1-2 years of experience
