Job description

  • Data Governance & Standards
  • Drive Global Operations' data strategy and ensure interoperability with tesa-wide data initiatives
  • Operate the governance framework: data ownership, quality standards, metadata, FAIR principles
  • Lead cross-functional alignment on data definitions, glossaries, and data standards
  • Main stakeholder alignment across corporate data governance, IT, plants, clusters, and central functions
  • Data Analytics, Data Infrastructure & Self-Service
  • Own the strategic business direction of Global Operations' data analytics platform: data architecture, evolution, and global rollout
  • Develop re-usable, standardized data products as a foundation for analytics, decision support, and AI across Global Operations' platforms & systems
  • Build self-service capabilities, enabling clusters and plants to derive insights independently
  • Act as the primary Global Operations interface to IT on analytics platform and architecture decisions – bridge Global Operations requirements into central IT roadmaps
  • AI & Enablement
  • Align AI Ambassador approach with Global Operations requirements; hub-and-spoke contact to the global AI organization
  • Align global AI strategy with Global Operations capabilities; translate targets into realistic, prioritized initiatives
  • Ensure data foundation and integration landscape enable increasingly automated decision-making at scale

Educational qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or related degrees
  • Broad knowledge in Operations & Supply Chain as well as Industry 4.0
  • Leadership, Project & Change Management skills

Relevant experience

  • 3-5 years of work experience in Operations
  • Track record of digital projects in the area of manufacturing as Project Manager
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing and shop-floor processes
  • Expertise in requirements engineering with high-level understanding of IT architectures
  • Experience in managing, leading & motivating project teams, ideally in matrix structures
  • Working in international and cross-functional teams (IT, Supply Chain, Operations, HR)
  • Knowledge of agile project methodologies; experience as product owner is a plus

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to synthesize data into meaningful conclusions
  • Entrepreneurial mind, enthusiastic personality, and communication skills
