Category Manager - Direct Materials

As the Category Manager - Direct Materials, reporting to the Director – Sourcing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies for a specific category of goods or services, aligning these strategies with overall business goals. This involves in-depth market knowledge, building and managing strategic relationships with key suppliers to optimize value and performance, leading complex negotiations, leveraging data analysis to drive sourcing decisions and identify opportunities. Additionally, you will be managing financial aspects within your category and effectively collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and achievement of desired outcomes. You will be accountable for the overall performance and risk management within your assigned category.
