Health Unit Coordinator - Medical Surgical - Full Time Evenings

Health Unit Coordinator at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. This position is Full time and will work 10-hour, Evening shifts. Primarily responsible for the clerical/receptionist activities on the patient care unit. Works under general supervision and direction of the department director, manager, supervisor or charge nurse and according to established policies and procedures. Transcribes physicians' orders, schedules diagnostic tests and therapies for patients, assembles and maintains patient charts, answers telephone, relays other calls and messages and maintains appropriate supplies and equipment levels.
