About the Opportunity
A well-established outpatient physical therapy office in Winchester, VA is looking for a Physical Therapist Director to lead clinical care, support staff, and help patients move through their rehabilitation plans with confidence and structure.
This role is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist who enjoys hands-on patient care but is also ready to take on broader clinic leadership. You will help guide treatment quality, oversee daily clinical flow, and support a team that works with patients recovering from pain, injury, surgery, weakness, and mobility challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate new patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct outpatient physical therapy care
- Lead clinical operations and support daily clinic workflow
- Guide therapists and staff with treatment planning and patient care questions
- Monitor patient progress and update care plans when appropriate
- Review documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Coordinate care with physicians, referral sources, patients, and families
- Support a professional clinic environment where staff and patients feel well-guided
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
- Ability to lead with clear communication and practical direction
