Physical Therapist | Modern Outpatient Clinic Opportunity

About the Clinic

This outpatient orthopedic clinic in Greenwood, MO provides physical therapy services for patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. The clinic serves patients from age 11 to 90, creating a varied caseload that includes different recovery stages, activity levels, and functional needs.

The team includes 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants, with documentation completed in WebPT. The clinic sees approximately 160–190 patient visits per week, with individual patient volume averaging 7–15 patients per day.

The Position

The Physical Therapist will provide evaluations, treatment plans, skilled interventions, patient education, documentation, and collaboration with the clinical team. The role is designed for a clinician who wants to work in a professional outpatient setting with flexible schedule options and room for growth.

Salary

  • New Graduate Physical Therapist: $65,000–$70,000 per year
  • Experienced Physical Therapist: $80,000–$90,000 per year , based on years of experience

Schedule Options

The clinic offers flexibility and strongly prefers one of the following schedules:

Four 10-Hour Days Preferred

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Tuesday off each week

Monday–Friday Schedule

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
  • Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial evaluations, reassessments, and discharge planning
  • Identify patient goals, physical limitations, pain concerns, strength deficits, and mobility needs
  • Create individualized plans of care for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, mobility training, gait training, balance work, and functional rehabilitation
  • Educate patients on home exercise programs, activity modification, and safe progression
  • Monitor progress and make appropriate treatment plan updates
  • Complete timely documentation in WebPT
  • Partner with PTAs and other clinicians to support patient outcomes
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
  • Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain Missouri licensure
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred, but not required
  • Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work with patients across a wide age range and varied orthopedic needs
