What You'll Be Doing
Job Summary: Generally responsible for total delivery of services safely, on time, within performance budget and meeting quality expectations on moderately complex projects. Work at this level requires progressive experience in construction management and involves utilization of project controls for cost, schedule and quality of projects. This work will be performed under minimal supervision.
Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Field Execution Planning:
Develops and coordinates daily/weekly construction execution plans.
Reviews engineering drawings for constructability and field readiness.
Identifies access, staging areas, material needs, and field constraints.
Contractor Management:
Serves as the primary site contact for contractors.
Ensures contractors follow Mosaic procedures, permits, and safety rules.
Monitors contractor progress, manpower, and productivity.
For T&M projects, reviews and approves timesheets daily. Stores electronic versions of approved timesheets on SharePoint site.
Safety & Compliance:
Performs daily field safety walks and participates in toolbox talks.
Ensures work permits, JHAs, and safety plans are completed properly.
Stops unsafe work and escalates issues as needed.
Performs housekeeping audits.
Ensures TRAP program is being followed on all activities, and permits are written per risks identified within the TRAP.
Ensures workers are qualified for the trade they are performing, i.e. equipment operators, welders, etc.
Work Coordination:
Coordinates field activities with operations, maintenance, and engineering.
Supports outage/turnaround planning and execution.
Reviews and validates field/earned progress against the schedule.
Quality Control:
Verifies work is installed per Mosaic specifications and engineering drawings.
Conducts field checks, inspections, and punchlist items.
Coordinates testing, commissioning, and turnover documentation.
Posts electronic documents on SharePoint site to manage documentation.
Materials & Logistics:
Ensures materials, equipment, and tools are available for planned work.
Tracks materials deliveries and resolves field material shortages.
Coordinates heavy lifts, equipment mobilization, and site logistics.

Ideal Background
Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Construction Science, Building Science or related field from an accredited university is highly preferred.
Licensing: General Contractors License is highly preferred.
Experience: This position requires a minimum 10 years of relevant industrial construction management or project related experience.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.

Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment such as a fire-retardant jumpsuit, safety glasses, ear plugs and hard hat.
