JUST ONE, on behalf of its client, a leading European space and technology company driving cutting-edge satellite systems and aerospace engineering solutions, is looking for a motivated and technically driven AI/ML Data Engineer to join their growing team in Greece.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and optimisation of neural‑network‑based models for on‑board processing.
- Contribute to dataset preparation, preprocessing, and evaluation workflows.
- Assist in prototyping machine‑learning algorithms in Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.).
- Participate in model optimisation for embedded or resource‑constrained hardware.
- Help integrate,test and benchmark AI algorithms on experimental on‑board computing platforms/accelerators (such as Neuromorphic or FPGA-based).
- Document technical results and support internal reviews.
- Work under the guidance of senior engineers in the Orbital-HPC team.
- Master‑level background (on-going or completed) in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, AI, Data Science , or related field.
- Familiarity with machine learning or deep learning concepts, computer vision frameworks, model optimization and quantization.
- Advanced experience with Python and ML libraries.
- Ability to work in Linux/Unix environments.
- Basic experience with C/C++ or embedded platforms.
- Interest in Neuromorphic computing.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Very good English.
- Base Salary €32K/yr - €45K/yr depending on level of experience, can be negotiated for senior profiles
- Direct contribution to validation of flight software for a satellite mission
