Nivaan Care is on a mission to end unnecessary pain surgeries in India. We are the country's most advanced interventional pain management clinic, offering evidence-based, non-surgical treatments that address the root cause of chronic pain, not just the symptoms. Think epidurals, radiofrequency ablation, regenerative procedures, and neuroplasty, all backed by a multidisciplinary team of pain specialists, physiotherapists, counselors, and nutritionists working together under one roof.

We have fresh Series A capital from some of the sharpest healthcare investors in the country, a patient community that genuinely believes in what we do, and a model ready to scale across Indian cities. Marketing is at the center of that plan.

The Role

This is not a seat for someone who wants to brief agencies and review decks. This is for someone who wants to build a marketing function from the ground up. Someone equally comfortable setting up automated nurture workflows and presenting a city expansion strategy to the board.

Chronic pain affects hundreds of millions of Indians. Most either live with it silently or end up in surgery that could have been avoided. Your job is to change that narrative. You will take Nivaan from a well-regarded clinic to a brand that every person in pain in India knows, trusts, and turns to first.

What makes this role different is that we want someone who treats AI as a daily operating tool, not a buzzword. Someone actively building smarter, faster, more automated marketing systems and constantly learning what the next wave of technology can unlock.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Build a Brand That Earns Deep Trust
  • Define and own Nivaan's brand identity, voice, visual language, and positioning across every touchpoint
  • Create narratives that speak honestly and powerfully to patients who have been failed by generic advice and quick fixes
  • Translate clinical proof points and patient outcomes into content that builds genuine, lasting credibility
  • Ensure brand consistency across clinics, digital channels, referral networks, doctor partners, and city launches
  • Own the visual identity system including guidelines, templates, and design standards for all outward-facing materials
  • Drive Patient Acquisition at Scale
  • Design and run full-funnel performance marketing across Google, Meta, YouTube, and emerging platforms
  • Build an SEO and content engine that makes Nivaan the default resource for chronic pain information in India
  • Manage paid media budgets with a sharp, data-driven eye on CPL and patient acquisition costs
  • Develop and scale referral programs with orthopedic consultants, GPs, physiotherapists, and corporate wellness teams

3.Build and Own Influencer and Creator Ecosystems

  • Identify, onboard, and manage health influencers, doctors, and patient advocates across Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms
  • Design creator-led campaigns that speak authentically to people living with back pain, joint pain, and nerve conditions
  • Build a Nivaan patient community that amplifies outcomes and drives organic word-of-mouth referrals
  • Develop ambassador programs with clinical thought leaders and wellness professionals across target cities
  • Automate, Systemise, and Scale
  • Build marketing infrastructure that runs like a machine: automated lead nurturing, CRM workflows, triggered communications, and funnel tracking
  • Set up full-funnel attribution so every rupee of spend can be traced to appointments and revenue
  • Create city launch playbooks so marketing scales without starting from scratch each time
  • Standardise processes across content, campaigns, reporting, and agency management
  • Lead as an AI-Native Marketer
  • Use AI tools actively across creative production, copywriting, research, analytics, and campaign optimisation as part of daily workflow
  • Evaluate and deploy the right MarTech stack including AI-powered tools for personalisation, SEO, social listening, and segmentation
  • Train and equip your team to use AI as a genuine productivity multiplier
  • Stay ahead of how AI is changing patient search behaviour, content consumption, and healthcare decision-making
  • Build and Lead the Team
  • Hire and develop a lean, high-output marketing team across brand, performance, content, and partnerships
  • Set up dashboards and reporting rhythms that keep the whole team aligned and accountable
  • Work closely with the founding team to tie marketing investments to growth targets, expansion plans, and investor commitments

Requirements

You have 10 or more years of marketing experience, with real leadership across brand and performance, and a genuine track record in healthcare, wellness, or a high-trust consumer business. You know how to build things, not just run them.

You are deeply comfortable with AI and actively use it as a genuine operating advantage. You have already built automations, tested AI tools in your workflow, and developed strong opinions on what actually works versus what is hype.

You are a systems person. You do not just launch campaigns. You build the infrastructure behind them so what you create can be replicated, measured, improved, and scaled by your team without you in every meeting.

You Bring

  • 10+ years of marketing experience with senior leadership roles in healthcare, healthtech, consumer health, or wellness
  • A proven track record of building and scaling brands in growth-stage companies, with clear, measurable results
  • Strong brand instincts: visual identity, tone of voice, positioning, and the ability to make a clinical business feel human and trustworthy
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of performance marketing, SEO, CRM, content strategy, and paid media management
  • Active, fluent use of AI tools in daily marketing work, from content generation to campaign analysis to personalisation
  • Experience building and managing influencer and creator programs, ideally in health, wellness, or lifestyle categories
  • A genuine systems mindset: automation workflows, marketing playbooks, and process documentation that outlast individual campaigns
  • Experience hiring, developing, and managing marketing talent across multiple disciplines
  • The ability to translate complex clinical value into simple, trustworthy, human communication
  • Multi-city or multi-market campaign experience in India

Bonus if You Have

  • Experience in pain management, musculoskeletal health, physiotherapy, or chronic disease marketing
  • Background in hospital networks, diagnostics, or medtech brands
  • Exposure to B2B healthcare channels including insurance, TPAs, or corporate wellness
  • Hands-on experience with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Klaviyo, Zapier, n8n, or similar automation platforms
  • An existing network in the Delhi NCR healthcare, wellness, or creator ecosystem
