6 th Form Study Supervisor

Required for a September,

13.5 hours a week, term time only, Wednesday-Friday, 8.30-1pm.

Salary scale H3, at £29,436 per annum which pro rata is £9,440.13.

The successful candidate to undertake the supervision of students in the 6 th form study areas; to lead the students on developing independent study skills; to support the students through the many activities they have to engage with as part of a typical 6th Form journey; to provide essential administrative support to the 6th Form Team.

Nower Hill is a high achieving co-educational, multicultural school which was last inspected by Ofsted in November 2023, receiving “outstanding” judgements in all categories, including for its 6th Form Provision. The 6th Form population is large with 400 students on roll and external visitors are frequently compelled to comment on the delightful manners and positivity of the students that they encounter.

About you

This role is ideal for a supportive, organised, and approachable individual with a genuine interest in working with and supporting Sixth Form students during a key stage of their education. No previous experience of working in a school is necessary, but applicants should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with young people. The successful candidate will help create a positive, focused, and supportive learning environment for our students.
