Job description

A DAY IN THE LIFE

The Manager I - Incorporated Materials Execution leads end‑to‑end procurement delivery for assigned material categories, from project award through final project site delivery. This role is accountable for team performance, delivery outcomes, and alignment of schedule critical procurement activities. They also manage a team of buyers, ensuring effective execution, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.

Operating at the intersection of construction scheduling, engineering readiness, and supply chain execution, the role uses strong schedule and critical path awareness to align procurement actions with construction sequencing and proactively mitigate delivery risk across a portfolio of concurrent EPC projects. They serve as the primary execution interface with suppliers, overseeing PO execution, monitoring SLA performance, and serving as the primary escalation point for delivery, commercial, or quality issues.

STEP INTO THE ROLE

  • Receives full material procurement handoff from Estimating at project award; validates that supplier pricing, lead time assumptions, and delivery commitments align with construction schedules and engineering maturity.
  • Manages the end-to-end PO lifecycle for assigned categories, including cut sheet routing, legal review coordination, DocuSign execution, and delivery schedule management.
  • Maintains visibility across assigned projects and escalates execution risks with supporting data.
  • Administers BOM intake, revision control, and engineering REQ workflows in Procore. Oversees procurement-side drawing workflows and version control. Supports transition to future-state systems while retaining execution accountability.
  • Leads, manages, and is accountable for the performance and results of Buyers and Expeditors across assigned projects.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 5 or more years of progressive experience in construction project delivery, procurement, or project engineering roles within utility-scale energy, heavy civil, or industrial construction required in addition to 2 to 3 years of leadership experience.

$110,617.00 - $160,396.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
