Job Details
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the below
- Serves as a consultant/resource to nursing staff in interpreting policy/procedure standards and evidence-based practices of nursing care.
- Clinical oversight and safe development of the new hires and assist with the transition of the newly licensed graduates into nursing practice.
- Meets regularly with orientees and preceptors.
- Confers with Director of Nursing Education regarding the competency of new hires.
- Provides teaching instructions to staff members while assessing and evaluating staff competency.
- Participates in the planning and analysis of educational programs based on evidence- based standards and guidelines to meet the needs of nursing staff members.
- Collaborates with the health care team to provide safe and high quality patient care
Requirments
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN). Masters in Nursing preferred (APRN- Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Educator).
- NYS RN License required.
- Excellent communication skills- verbal and written.
- Ability to relate effectively to patients, families, and staff.
- Demonstrates and promotes service excellence at all times.
- Current ACLS and BLS required.
Salary Range
USD $65.00 - USD $65.00 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
