Job Duties and Responsibilities

As the Senior Financial Analyst for our HMNO Wireless Business, you will serve as the central engine for our financial reporting and strategic analysis. This high-visibility role acts as the primary liaison between the Wireless Finance team, Shared Service departments, and Total Company Corporate FP&A. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of all wireless financials while translating complex data into actionable insights for executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the month-end consolidation of wireless financials, ensuring all entries from shared services and business units are accurate and complete
  • Prepare monthly executive-level summaries that articulate "the story behind the numbers," linking financial results to business strategy
  • Build and maintain weekly and monthly models for key operational and financial performance metrics, including comprehensive KPI scorecards
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Corporate FP&A, ensuring wireless data is accurately represented in total-company reporting
  • Acquire and synthesize data from multiple sources to evaluate trends, identify variances and interpret financial patterns
  • Assign numerical and financial values to essential business functions to assess and compare performance over time
  • Develop sophisticated financial presentations for upper management, offering data-driven recommendations to drive profitability and operational efficiency
  • Continuously develop and refine reporting capabilities to monitor performance and identify untapped improvement opportunities

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
  • 4–6+ years of experience in financial analysis, consolidation or corporate FP&A
  • Experience in the telecommunications or wireless industry is a significant plus

Skills and Qualifications

  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel (complex modeling, macros, and data visualization)
  • Proficiency in OneStream, SmartView, Essbase, or similar enterprise-grade consolidation and reporting tools
  • A rational, curious mindset with outstanding problem-solving skills and a meticulous eye for detail
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; must be able to summarize complex financial concepts into easy-to-follow materials for senior executives
  • Ability to quickly grasp the full wireless business model (HMNO) and align financial reporting with overarching company goals

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year Benefits

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
