Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Shared Services Payroll Analyst to support our global payroll operations, with primary responsibility for payroll activities across Latin America and Canada .
In this role, you will partner with external payroll providers, HR, Finance, and internal stakeholders to ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in full compliance with local regulations and company policies. Responsibilities
Payroll Operations
- Support end-to-end payroll processing across assigned countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local labor, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate payroll inputs, validations, and approvals with external payroll providers.
- Review payroll outputs and gross-to-net calculations to ensure accuracy before final processing.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a key point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees, HR teams, Finance, and external vendors.
- Partner with payroll providers to resolve payroll discrepancies and operational issues.
- Support responses to requests from tax authorities, social security agencies, and other regulatory bodies.
Data Management & Compliance
- Maintain and validate employee and payroll data across HR and payroll systems.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, confidentiality, and compliance with data privacy requirements.
- Support payroll audits and compliance reviews by preparing documentation and reports.
Financial Controls & Reporting
- Review payroll registers and payroll reconciliations.
- Partner with Finance to ensure payroll results are accurately reflected in the General Ledger.
- Assist with payroll reporting and statutory filings as required.
Process Improvement & Projects
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and service delivery.
- Participate in payroll-related projects, system enhancements, testing activities, and process implementations.
- Support maintenance and updates of payroll earning and deduction codes.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in payroll, HR operations, or shared services.
- Hands-on experience supporting payroll operations across Latin America.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and formulas.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting payroll operations in Brazil.
- Knowledge of payroll vendor management.
- Familiarity with global data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience working within multinational or shared services environments.
