Job description
1. Enterprise Architecture & Strategy-Lead the architectural design and evolution of core telco systems, including OSS/BSS transformation, Cloud-Native transitions, and IT infrastructure modernization. Establish and enforce architectural governance, standards, and best practices using industry frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, TM Forum Frameworx).
- Network Domain Leadership-Provide subject matter expertise on next-generation network architectures, including 5G/6G Core & RAN, SDN/NFV, Edge Computing, and IoT ecosystems. Drive the convergence of IT and Network domains, ensuring seamless integration and interoperability across legacy and modern network infrastructures.Lead architectural initiatives related to network slicing, automation, and zero-touch provisioning.
- Strategic Consulting & Advisory-Act as a trusted strategic advisor to the CxO suite, both internally and for key enterprise clients, offering insights on market trends, technology roadmaps, and monetization strategies.Lead consulting engagements focused on operational efficiency, cost optimization, and the creation of new digital revenue streams for the enterprise B2B sector. Mentor and guide cross-functional teams of solution architects, network engineers, and business analysts.
- Sales & Business Development-Partner closely with the enterprise sales and go-to-market (GTM) teams to drive large-scale, multi-million-dollar technical sales engagements across the Middle East.Lead the technical strategy for major bids, RFPs, and RFIs, crafting winning proposals that demonstrate clear ROI and technological superiority. Qualifications & Experience Experience: Minimum of 25 years of progressive experience in the telecommunications industry, with at least 10 years in senior Enterprise Architecture or CTO-advisory roles.Domain Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of fixed and mobile networks, telco cloud, OSS/BSS architectures, API enablement, and data monetization.Consulting Background: Proven experience working for or partnering with top-tier consulting firms (e.g., Big 4, MBB, or major tech consultancies) leading telco transformation programs.Sales Acumen: Demonstrated success in pre-sales, technical sales, and business development, with a history of closing large, complex telecom/ICT deals.Certifications: Highly desirable certifications include TOGAF, TM Forum (eTOM, SID, TAM), ITIL, and relevant cloud architecture certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
