Strategic Business Partnering: Act as a trusted finance partner to commercial and support functions, translating financial performance and data into actionable, business-supported insights.

Financial Planning & Forecasting: Support the affiliate's strategic financial planning, including comprehensive financial forecasting (Sales & OPEX) and assisting in critical resource allocation decisions.

Financial Controls & Compliance: Execute key financial controls, perform variance analysis, and manage cost center and master data to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with guidelines.

Performance Monitoring: Track key metrics, monitor financial performance, identify target deviations, and proactively assist in proposing corrective actions to meet business objectives.

Continuous Improvement & Digitalization: Drive process improvements, support automation and digitalization initiatives, and leverage an entrepreneurial mindset to simplify and optimize finance and business processes.

Strategic Steering: Gain a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, market dynamics, and key business drivers to enable effective financial steering and strategic decision-making.

Who You Are

You are an organized, strategically focused, and curious professional who is eager to learn and possesses the agility to thrive in a constantly evolving international environment. You are someone who wants to influence your own development, brings an experimental mindset, and is committed to continuous improvement and customer-centricity. For this position you bring:

Higher-education degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

•

Professional experience in Finance Business Partnering, Controlling, or a similar strategic finance role. Good understanding of corporate finance, financial modelling, and data analysis, ideally with experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.

•

Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP) and the Microsoft Office suite (especially advanced Excel).

•

Proficiency in data mining and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) complemented by a professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACA, or CIMA (or actively working toward one) are highly valued assets.

•

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven talent for translating complex data into clear insights.

•

Excellent communication skills for effective business partnering, combined with a proactive, meticulous, and deadline-oriented approach.

•

Fluency in both Portuguese and English (written and spoken).

•

Willingness to work internationally and develop a global career.

•

While we embrace a hybrid work model, proximity to the Roche office in Lisbon, Amadora, is required to ensure you can comfortably commute.
