Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct proactive business development aligned with the division’s strategy in countries where business conditions require increased attention and focus. Each day, you will provide business support, including expertise in products, applications, solutions, and segment and customer (group) support for the assigned product portfolio. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring profitable business growth and sustainable deployment of the division’s strategic plan.

This role is contributing to the Motion - IEC Low Voltage Motors Business based at Jakarta, Indonesia.

You will be mainly accountable for

  • Ensure strategies and business plans align with divisional goals, oversee cross-divisional initiatives, and support product launches and customer events to achieve defined targets.
  • Drive business expansion for induction motors in the COG market by developing and executing strategies to boost sales, market share, and profitability, while identifying new opportunities, applications, and customer segments.
  • Build strong partnerships with OEMs, EPCs, end-users, and channel partners; lead key account development, manage strategic customers, and leverage experience in Frame Agreements.
  • Prepare and present technical/commercial proposals, tenders, and contracts; conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to strengthen positioning within the motors industry.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in business development or sales in Industrial equipment or induction motor markets
  • Strong knowledge of induction motors, applications and industrial systems
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new accounts
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Self motivated, proactive and able to work independently
