About Brucejack
Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.

Your impact
As an Underground Electrical Electrician, you will play a key role in maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient underground electrical systems that support production equipment, fixed infrastructure, and critical underground services. Your expertise will directly contribute to operational uptime and a strong safety culture.
As part of our team you will
- Promote and uphold full compliance with the Electrical Safety Program
- Perform routine maintenance on underground fixed plant and mobile equipment
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Install and maintain power distribution systems and control panels
- Conduct system testing and preventative maintenance
- Support equipment availability by identifying and resolving electrical issues
- Communicate electrical status updates with supervisors and operations teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and work records
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, and Health & Safety teams
Prerequisites for your success in this role
- Interprovincial Red Seal Electrician certification
- Minimum 5+ years of maintenance experience
- Minimum 3+ years of underground mining experience
- Strong knowledge of BC Mines Act & Regulations and Canadian Electrical Code (CEC, M421, Z462)
- Experience supporting underground production and development equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Commitment to safety and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Physically able to work underground, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work 12-hour rotational shifts at a remote site
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical, fitness-for-duty, and drug & alcohol testing
Working Conditions
- Remote camp setting with private accommodations provided
- Work in extreme weather conditions and close quarters with team members
- Rotational schedule: 13 days on / 13 days off
- Travel allowance and transportation arrangements included
- Drug & alcohol-free workplace (pre-employment testing required)

The expected salary range for this role is CA$66.58 / hour . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
