Job description

This is a varied support role at the heart of a small, close-knit clinic. You'll work alongside the Practice Manager to keep things running smoothly — from welcoming patients at reception to managing files, coordinating with the clinical team, and making sure every patient feels in good hands.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Reception & patient welcome — meeting and greeting patients, managing pathology forms, and supporting patients when the PA is unavailable
• Patient file management — confirming onboarding documentation, uploading faxes, forwarding records to Medical Records, and processing Genea referrals
• Practice Manager support — phone and email follow-up, admin tasks, and supporting nursing, counselling, and dietician teams as needed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• A people-first approach — patients come to us at a significant time in their lives, and how we make them feel matters
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills — comfortable working alongside doctors, nurses, counsellors, and external stakeholders
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail — able to prioritise a varied workload in a busy clinic environment
• Previous experience in a medical, allied health, or customer-facing admin role is highly regarded

Our staff tell us it is the people they work with that makes them stay. That, and our exceptional success rates. It is pretty special working for one of Australia's leading Fertility clinics.

And what's in it for you?

We know it's important to look after our staff, so Genea offers a number of perks including;

  • Glow - Our online recognition and rewards portal. Access discounts at over 350+ retailers as well as accessing recipes, fitness classes and mindfulness sessions
  • Learning and development – Ongoing opportunities for continuous education through Education Days, internal development, conference opportunities and companywide initiatives
  • Certified Family Friendly workplace 2025/26
