About the Role
The Brokerage Accounting role responsible for brokerage transaction auditing, commission accounting, brokerage accounts payable administration, post-close adjustments, referrals, co-brokes, silent overrides, clawbacks, and exception management across assigned markets. This role ensures brokerage transactions are accurate, audit-ready, and processed correctly.
Responsibilities
- Own brokerage accounting operations for assigned markets.
- Audit brokerage deals and commission calculations for accuracy.
- Review referrals, co-brokes, silent overrides, and special commission arrangements.
- Manage post-close adjustments, clawbacks, commission corrections, and payment exceptions.
- Monitor automated Total Brokerage to Ramp payment workflows and investigate discrepancies.
- Partner with Operations and market leadership to resolve transaction issues.
- Support month-end close and audit readiness.
- Document recurring exceptions and identify automation opportunities.

Qualifications
- 3+ years experience.
- Real estate brokerage accounting experience preferred.
- Experience resolving accounting exceptions.
- Experience with Total Brokerage, Ramp, NetSuite, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft 365
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Accuracy-first and audit-ready mindset.
Compensation
Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
The national base pay range for this position within the United States is $70,000.00 - $80,000 USD.
Your Location
This position is remote eligible. The role may include occasional work at SERHANT. offices or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. While this position is remote eligible, candidates must live within the United States.
