A Brief Overview
Experienced maintenance professional specializing in finish carpentry, commercial door hardware repair, pneumatic tube system support, or similar complex mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical equipment within a healthcare environment. Must be able to diagnose equipment failures, perform preventative maintenance and minimize downtime to support safe and efficient operations.
What you will do
- Demonstrates the ability to perform finish carpentry work including but not limited to removing or installing cabinets, counter tops, trim and door components.
- Must be able to install drywall, plaster, metal studs (building materials) and perform caulking.
- Diagnoses, maintains and repairs hospital infrastructure and equipment such as tube transport systems.
- Performs commercial door lock repairs including crash bars, automatic operators and door closers.
- Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot, service and assemble furniture and cubicles including sit-to-stand desks.
- Must have the ability to install and repair suspended ceiling panels and grid systems.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- Technical Certificate from an accredited program; three to six months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
