Key Responsibilities Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-scale data solutions using Snowflake and DBT. Define data engineering standards, best practices, and governance frameworks across the project Strong experience in data architecture design and end-to-end data platform ownership. Deep expertise in Snowflake advanced features (Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning). Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT. Implement ELT processes to transform raw data into curated datasets for analytics and business use. Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements. Develop and optimize data models (dimensional/star schema) using DBT. Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across pipelines. Integrate data from multiple sources such as APIs, flat files, and databases. Perform performance tuning and optimization in Snowflake. Automate workflows and deployments using CI/CD practices. Maintain proper documentation of data models, pipelines, and workflows. Ensure compliance with healthcare/pharma data standards and regulations. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (data warehousing, performance tuning, security). Proficiency in DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling. Expertise in SQL (advanced queries, optimization). Experience with Python for data engineering tasks. Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow or similar. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure / GCP. Knowledge of version control systems like Git. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
