What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities): •
Design, implement, operate , and optimize Microsoft 365, Azure, and Microsoft security services.
•
Implement and maintain cloud security controls aligned to federal security standards, Zero Trust architecture, and Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Moderate requirements.
•
Administer and secure identity services using Entra ID, conditional access, privileged access controls, and least-privilege models.
•
Manage and support Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and related collaboration workloads.
•
Support Azure infrastructure, application workloads, networking, troubleshooting, and hybrid integrations.
•
Configure and manage Defender, Sentinel, Purview, and related platforms for threat protection, data governance, and response readiness.
•
Produce technical documentation, training materials, reporting, and dashboards, including health, compliance, spend, and utilization reporting.
•
Support incident response and disaster response playbooks and procedural documentation.
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements): •
Eight years of experience engineering and operating enterprise Microsoft cloud environments.
•
Demonstrated ability to provide senior-level leadership and independent operational support for enterprise Microsoft cloud environments.
•
Experience with hybrid Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Entra environments, endpoint management, Intune, Autopilot, and device policy delivery.
•
Advanced experience with identity and access management, multi-factor authentication (MFA) transitions, smart cards, and Fast Identity Online (FIDO)-based authentication across Windows and macOS systems.
•
Hands-on experience with Defender, Sentinel, Purview, and Microsoft cloud data sources and monitoring.
•
Ability to support formal change management, technical documentation, and stakeholder advisory work.
•
Ability to meet federal screening and suitability requirements prior to start.
•
Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert.
•
Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert.
•
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
•
Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate.
•
Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate.
•
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
•
Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate.
•
Microsoft Certified: Information Security Administrator Associate.
•
These certifications (or their equivalents) must be current and maintained for a minimum of five years; expired or never-used certifications will not be considered.
