Job description
Company Description
Nine is Australia’s largest locally owned media company. Working at Nine, you’ll have access to a unique range of experiences and opportunities, helping drive the success of the country’s most trusted television, radio, digital and publishing brands.
Our content reaches almost every Australian - meaning what we do has real impact. We bring people together, celebrate the big moments, and capture the everyday ones.
Some of our most beloved brands have been part of Australian life for generations, and others - new on the scene - have already found their place firmly in our lives. We’re evolving and we need people like you to bring new ideas, innovate and make your mark.
Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive Delivery Manager to step into a critical role within Nine's newly formed Consumer Platform team in our Digital division. This team is pivotal to Nine's ' Integrated Consumer Platform ' (ICP) vision, driving the creation of a seamless, audience-centric digital ecosystem that enhances engagement and revenue across flagship products like 9Now, Stan, The Sydney Morning Herald, Good Food, and The Australian Financial Review.
Our focus is moving away from facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing a single Scrum team, towards orchestrating delivery across multiple teams, platforms and technologies to achieve strategic customer outcomes.
What you’ll do:
Workstream Orchestration & Alignment: You will coordinate delivery across cross-functional disciplines, including Product, Engineering, Design, Security, and Platform teams. You will focus on orchestrating the flow of work and aligning team efforts to deliver customer value, rather than micro-managing tasks.
Systems Application & Flow: You will apply Lean and Systems Thinking principles to map and optimise day-to-day delivery workflows—from discovery through to release and customer impact. You will help teams identify and resolve flow bottlenecks.
Professional Development & Mentorship Engagement: You will actively partner with Senior Delivery Managers to receive mentorship and coaching. You will focus on growing your skills in advanced programme governance, executive communication, and managing organisational change.
Dependency & Risk Management: You will proactively identify, track, and mitigate delivery risks and cross-team dependencies, escalating complex or systemic portfolio-level issues to the Senior Delivery Manager when necessary.
- Collaborative Problem Solving: You will bring the right people together to resolve blockers, facilitate alignment across workstreams, and foster a highly collaborative, outcome-focused environment.
