Job description

OVERVIEW

Assist in analyzing opportunities and developing methodologies to minimize cost, improve labor productivity, and improve equipment and systems utilization.

RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

  • Perform detailed analyses to evaluate supply chain projects and improvement opportunities at the Sheetz Distribution Services
  • Apply Industrial Engineering tools and knowledge in a production facility that may include project management, waste reduction, non-value-added activity identification and elimination, and labor studies
  • Assist in financial evaluations and projections for assigned projects
  • Assist in developing or maintaining reporting and monitoring performance measures
  • Provide support and recommendations for other ongoing projects

QUALIFICATIONS

(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)

Education

  • Highschool diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.

Experience

  • No experience required
  • Previous exposure to data visualization practices and software, such as Tableau preferred.
  • Previous exposure to advanced Microsoft Excel functions preferred.
