Job description
Position Objective
Act as a key liaison between Business and IT, responsible for capturing, analyzing, documenting, and managing IT application requests from business users, while also serving as first-level support for application-related incidents and service requests managed through ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with business users across regions, and ensuring that proposed solutions are aligned with business strategies, comply with global IT standards, architecture and governance, and follow best IT practices to deliver scalable, secure, and value-driven outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities
•
Act as the primary point of contact between business users and IT to capture, analyze, and refine application requests.
•
Ensure alignment of requests with business strategy and IT roadmaps.
•
Translate business needs into clear, prioritized, and traceable functional requirements.
•
Propose and evaluate solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, governance, and compliance standards.
•
Collaborate with technical teams to validate feasibility and balance global and regional needs.
•
Provide Level 1 (L1) support for application incidents and service requests in ServiceNow.
•
Perform troubleshooting, ticket classification, prioritization, and escalation when required.
•
Contribute to root cause analysis, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
•
Support project delivery through testing, UAT, validation, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
•
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and ensure alignment across teams.
•
Facilitate collaboration, workshops, and solution discussions when needed.
•
Ensure traceability of requests, incidents, and delivered solutions.
•
Uphold company values, safety standards, and quality policies.
Requirements
•
Bachelor: Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering or similar field
•
Minimum 3 years of experience with the SAP Production Planning module , along with practical experience in manufacturing or production environments.
•
Advanced English level
•
Knowledge of French or German is an advantage
•
Analytic, problem-solving working and structured working style
•
Positive communication style and promotion of BRP value fundamentals
•
Excellent interpersonal skills with good judgement of sensitive situations
•
Forward-thinking and business savvy.
•
Ability to set priorities and to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
